Oliso SmartIron TG1600 ProPlus
Good Points
- Excellent at ironing, silk, wool, and denim, and very good at ironing organza.
- Very long cord which can be wound around the top of the iron, although there is no clip.
- Iron has touch-sensor handle which will raise and lower built-in legs. This allows the user to leave the iron in the horizontal position without it burning the surface it's on. Was very responsive during testing and easy to use.
Bad Points
- Heavy, but touch sensor lift helps alleviate much of the strain.
- Filling the water tank is easy to use to but the placement is awkward for emptying the iron. Turning the iron upside down to empty can release water onto the user's hands. This could be especially dangerous if the user doesnt wait for the iron to cool before emptying it.
- Doesnt release much steam unless using the shot of steam function.
- Only a 1 year warranty provided.
- Slow process when ironing cotton, required lots of steam and water.
