Miele KM 3014 G
Good Points
- Very good overall.
- Excellent for low temperature cooking.
- Excellent for turn down performance.
- Excellent for high temperature cooking.
- Good for ease of use.
- Layout positioning is very good, wok burner is in the centre on the left and the simmer burner is positioned right rear and medium burner is at the front.
- 3 pots fits comfortably, there is no restricted access when all burners are in use.
- Pan support is good on all burners, except small burner.
- Wok and small pan trivet provided.
- Controls have a grading line.
- 3 individual, fairly light weight cast iron trivets are easy to clean in a domestic sink.
- Trivets have a fairly smooth surface, making it easy to wipe over.
- Burner surround is moulded and fairly easy to clean. All burners have a raised edge so liquid spills are less likely to run into workings.
Bad Points
- Need to use a trivet for small burner, only OK stability for a small pan or coffee pot.
- Controls are positioned at the front of the cook top making them accessible to children.
- No spill catchment and no separation from burner to burner.
- Glass ceramic surface OK to clean, may require extra attention to remove smudges and streak marks.
- Labelling is printed onto glass and may scratch off or fade after prolonged cleaning.
