- Excellent result for dehydrating kale chips.
- Very good results for dehydrating apple and beef jerky.
- Comprehensive instructions with cooking guidelines and a recipes.
- Shelves can fit fairly easily into a domestic sink or dishwasher.
- Can view some of the food through the smokey plastic on each shelf.
Bad Points
- Only OK for ease of use.
- Only OK result for dehydrating fruit leather and semi-dried tomatoes.
- May not accommodate larger pieces of food – shelves may not be positioned correctly if the food obstructs the shelf above.
- May need to rotate shelves to achieve even drying.
- Dial control with no indicator lights is positioned at the front, need to bend down to access small stiff dial with grip.
- Small written labelling.
- No timer, no automatic shut-off, no audible sound.
- Temperatures may not be accurate.
- Can be fiddly stacking the shelves to fit comfortably.
- The flat solid mat is flimsy and small.
- Shelves are plastic with lots of crevices – only OK to clean as some food particles can get stuck in the crevices.
