- Olympia Splendid has expressed surprise at our results, and have advised their heater was tested to and passed the cord anchorage test specified in Australian Standard AU/NZ 60335.2.30, and supplied their testing certification. They also advised they conducted spot checks on 10 samples upon hearing from CHOICE, all of which passed the AU/NZ 60335.2.30 cord anchorage test. CHOICE stands by its results, and since publication the ACCC issued a recall on this model.
